Problems Viewing Attachments

Attachments can contain dangerous content, such as viruses. Microsoft tries to help keep your computer safe from dangerous content by limiting the types of attachments you can open.

Sometimes Microsoft's limiting of attachments may block your access to safe attachments you wish to view. The following will allow you to view ALL attachments sent in emails.

CAUTION

Setting your email program to view all attachments can leave your computer vulnerable to Viruses, Worms, and other attacks!

Insure that you have a good, current and up-to-date Anti-Virus program installed in your computer. Even with The SkyBeam's virus blocker, without a good Anti-Virus program installed in your computer, you can still get a virus.




1. Open your Email program.
2. Left-Click on the word "Tools" at the top of the window.
3. Left-Click on "Options" in the drop-down menu.




1. Left-Click on the "Security" tab at the top of the window.
2. Left-Click once in the check box to remove the check-mark.
3. Click the "Apply" button, then "OK".
4. Close all windows, including the email program.

5. Wait five seconds, then re-open your email program and view your attachments.
