If the computer that you are running the speed tests on has any Internet access program running, such as instant messaging, email, or other Internet related program, it is highly recommended that you temporarily terminate those programs before you do the speed tests.

It is recommended that you do three to five tests over a two or three minute period, then average the results.



Having more than one computer on at the same time does not substantially reduce your overall speed, but does interfere with the results of this speed test.

Some computers and/or some anti-virus or popup blockers may cause your computer to report erroneously high or low speeds. If your results are extremely high or low, this is a result of something in your computer that is interfering with these tests.

We strive to insure that our customers receive a speed at least as fast as that which they are paying.   If the results of your speed tests are substantially below the speed that you have purchased, please let us know so we can correct the problem as soon as possible.
