Periodically you may receive an
Email similar to the following:

This is Postini, our Spam and Virus protection service, notifying you of a potential Virus or Spam.
Do not reply to this email, as it is created by a machine, and no human will ever see your reply.

Simply click the link to login to your Message Center.

Enter you password, and click the LOG IN button.
Your password is on the back of your "New User" brochure, that was presented to you at the time your installation was done.

One or two areas will be displayed.   If Postini has trapped a virus, you will see a red area displaying the virus(es) that were trapped.   If Postini has trapped some potential junk mail, the gray area will be displayed.

To delete a virus, simply click the "Check-Box" to the left of each virus you wish to eliminate and click the Remove button.

The Suspicious Junk Email area lists those things deemed less than worthy of your attention.   Postini is a "Rules Based Filter" and like all machine-thinking, may make mistakes from time-to-time. Some ligitimate email may get blocked, and some Spam may get through.

To read a suspicious message, simply click the subject line.

To deliver an email to your computer, click the check-box to the left of each message you wish passed on to you, and click the Deliver button.

To delete an email, click the check-box to the left of each message you wish to eliminate, and click the Remove button.
